How to file a corruption complaint?
Reporting acts of corruption is an important step in promoting transparency and integrity in our university community. You can do so in the following ways:

What is a complaint?
A denunciation is the report made by a citizen, in compliance with his duty of solidarity, to inform the authorities about the existence of irregular facts. Its purpose is to activate the corresponding investigation and sanction mechanisms. In the context of our institution, a report of acts of corruption is a fundamental means to promote integrity and transparency, thus contributing to the maintenance of an ethical and trustworthy environment in the university community.
What is corruption?
Corruption is described as a phenomenon that undermines the dignity of a person, group or nation, and is attributed to a public servant who, in the exercise of his functions, seeks to obtain a particular benefit for himself or for a third party. These benefits may be of a pecuniary, political or social position nature, among others.
Suggestions when filing your complaint:
When filing a complaint for possible acts of corruption, we recommend that you consider the following aspects:
- Provide a clear, detailed and accurate description of the facts of which you have knowledge.
- If possible, explain how the events happened, where they occurred and on what date.
- Indicate who or who participated in the events, if you have this information.
- Attach any evidence to support your story. If possible, provide your name, home address, telephone number and e-mail address for possible future communications.
- If you prefer to report anonymously, make sure that the information provided is credible and accompany it with evidence that can guide the investigation.
- Please inform if you have already reported the facts to any other authority and, if so, indicate which one.
