Applicant Profile
Applicants to the Tourism and Hospitality Management program must possess a passion for the industry, management and leadership skills, knowledge of tourism and hospitality, communication skills, customer service orientation, flexibility and adaptability, as well as language proficiency and an understanding of global culture.
Graduate profile
The graduate of the Tourism and Hotel Management program of the University of La Guajira will have the ability to formulate and evaluate economic investment projects, and the understanding to apply different administrative, tourism and hotel models. Similarly, they will be able to enhance the economic development of tourism from all fronts: administrative, financial, marketing and advertising, and management of tourism services, both locally and regionally, seeking the projection of tourism at all levels.
