Mission
The Faculty of Basic and Applied Sciences, as an academic unit of the University of La Guajira, in accordance with its principles and objectives, fulfills the function of training, with quality, integral people, in order to manage sustainable development in the regional and national environment, through processes of scientific and continuous training of professionals with leadership attitude, investigative and humanistic spirit, in the generation, communication, transformation, transfer and application of scientific-technological knowledge of basic and applied sciences. As a result, new scenarios of integral formation are provided, oriented to satisfy the needs of the regional and national environment.
