The community workshop in the Rancheria River delta focuses on the evaluation of alternative flood risk management solutions in the area, with the objective of understanding river delta dynamics, flood vulnerability and preparing participants to respond effectively to emergencies. With modules ranging from an introduction to deltas and flood basics to emergency response and intervention measures, participants will acquire key skills to identify and assess risks, as well as to implement sustainable solutions.
