The pre-university programs available for the second academic period of this year are:
- Pre-college Engineering (Note: This course does not guarantee admission to the Architecture program in 2025-1).
- Pre-University of Education Sciences.
- Pre-university of Economic and Administrative Sciences.
- Basic Science Pre-college (Note: This course does not guarantee admission to the Agroecology program in 2025-1).

Enrollment for Pre-University Courses 2024-2
In order to support the qualification of applicants for higher education, the Universidad de la Guajira has implemented the pre-university strategy. This program seeks to improve the previous knowledge of applicants, enhancing competencies and skills for vocational decision making, in order to facilitate the entry and permanence in undergraduate programs of the institution.
Online Enrollment Requirements:
- Registration through the institutional web page.
- High school graduation.
- Have taken the Saber 11 test.
- Have an overall score preferably equal to or higher than 200 on the Saber 11 test. This requirement is waived for applicants in vulnerable conditions (indigenous, Afro-descendants, displaced persons, among others).
Details of the Pre-University Course:
- Duration of 16 weeks.
- Subjects that reinforce and strengthen knowledge and skills.
- Enrollment requirements: Photocopy of identity card, photocopy of high school diploma and duly completed letter of commitment.
- Financial enrollment date: As of August 5, 2024.
- No refunds will be made after payment of registration and tuition fees for the pre-university course.
Explanatory Notes:
- The University reserves the right to offer pre-university programs for programs affiliated to the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences. The pre-university programs offered in this period will not allow access to the academic programs of this faculty (Law, Psychology and Social Work) in 2025-1.
- The Engineering pre-college will not give admission to the Architecture program in 2025-1.
- The institution reserves the right to open pre-university courses if the minimum number of enrolled applicants is not met.
