La Faculty of Health Sciences of the University of the Guajira ofrece programas académicos en Nursing y Nutrition and Dietetics.

The Faculty of Health Sciences of the University of La Guajira was created as a proposal to train integral professionals capable of perceiving, apprehending, generating, applying and transforming knowledge and know-how in a context of cultural diversity. Through teaching, research, social projection and outreach, it seeks to meet the needs of sustainable and sustainable development of the Guajira society and its environment. It focuses especially on the self-recognition of multiculturalism and the promotion of the integral development of all its institutional actors and the community in general to achieve intercultural conditions.

The Faculty of Health Sciences of the University of La Guajira contributes to the formation of integral professionals in the health area. In a holistic manner, it integrates the fields of human sciences, technological innovation, research and extension to meet the challenges offered by social, scientific and cultural environments in the individual, family and community, in regional, national and international contexts.

In ten years, the Faculty of Health Sciences of the University of La Guajira will be a leader in its area of training. It will educate professionals with capacities of inclusion, excellence and academic quality, who contribute to the improvement of the health of the individual, the family and the community, and achieve regional and national recognition.
