The Graduate Center of the University of La Guajira is an administrative unit attached to the Vice Rector's Office for Research and Extension and defined as a management, advisory and consultative body; to coordinate, control and direct the processes framed in the regulations, policies, plans and projects of the University, to achieve short, medium and long term monitoring and to evaluate the social impact of graduates.

Our Mission

The Graduate Center of the University of La Guajira will be in charge of designing, proposing and executing policies, strategies and projects in accordance with the guidelines of the Institutional Political-Educational Project of the University of La Guajira concerning the follow-up, evaluation of the impact of the graduate actor and the program in which he/she graduated, promoting the valuation, communication, support and permanent information between the graduates and the dependencies and units of the Institution that are related to him/her, through the construction of the Graduate Network of the University.

Our Vision

The Graduate Center of the University of La Guajira will be recognized as an institutional project of permanent character, and a leading center that contributes, within the framework of self-evaluation and accreditation, to the consolidation and development of research, technological development, teaching and extension and social projection activities in accordance with the guidelines of the institutional political-educational project, supporting the achievement of the Institutional vision in the solution of the problems of the environment, consolidating the positive social impact of the graduate actor, of the academic program from which he/she graduated and of the Institution.
