Tutorials
Uniguajira has been working on the identification of high repetition subjects in each of the academic programs of our institution, thus providing timely attention to students who have difficulties in these subjects through tutorials in order to minimize the risk in high repetition subjects and reduce the student dropout rate.
Acompañamiento al aprendizaje
It is a program that provides a process of counseling, accompaniment and permanent psychosocial follow-up to first and second semester students of all academic programs of the institution. In this sense, we continue in the search for adaptation and motivation to university life by strengthening study techniques.
Generation E
The inter-administrative agreement between the Ministry of National Education and the Higher Education Institution aims to join technical, operational, administrative and human efforts to achieve the implementation and execution of the Generation E Program. The objective of this program is to provide academic and welfare support to the beneficiary students of the different academic programs, in order to identify factors that affect student desertion and high permanence for the timely approach to achieve the successful completion of the training process.
Estudiante repitente
A program whose purpose is to shelter repeating students who take subjects for 3 or 4 times in the academic programs of the University of La Guajira, in order to support them in an integral way, that is to say at an academic and psychosocial level, instructing them on how to overcome obstacles, enhance skills, recognize factors, strategies, and methods that allow them to overcome their academic deficiencies, without forgetting the effort made to achieve the goal successfully.
Promotion to successful graduation
Program oriented to promote the modalities of degree through the socialization of the same, in addition to the accompaniment and monitoring of undergraduate students in their degree process in order to provide tools to opt for the title of technical-professional, technologist or professional in the academic programs of the University of La Guajira.
Mentoring
A program that provides spaces for peer-to-peer monitoring and guidance, in which accompaniment, support and guidance is received and/or provided to students during their academic training within the context of Uniguajira.
